Day 5 - Birthday Hat Cupcakes

In today's class we had a birthday theme. We started class using a writing tip (#4) to write happy birthday as you would on a cake. We practiced in three different fonts including print and cursive. We then made birthday hat cupcakes using white frosting, sugar cones, round candies, sprinkles, and Funfetti cupcakes. The kids frosted the bottom of the cone with frosting and then added the sprinkles. They then added the candy to the top with a dab of frosting "glue". They then frosted their cupcake using a large star or round tip. They then added the cone to the top of the cupcakes. :)
